We are a group of passionate educators, engineers, researchers, and technocrats motivated and inspired to bring transformation, innovation, and revolution to the education sector of Nepal with the use of information and communication technology.
We started Digital Nepal from scratch in 2014, as a campaign, and have now become a movement to transform the education sector with information and communication technology (ICT). Here is the trigger that led us to start this campaign: Tardy management process consumes a lot of time and human resources Huge gap between the traditional school management system and the digitally managed information system Need of integrating technology to assuring quality education
Within a short span of time, we have successfully digitalized more than 700+ schools/colleges across the country. We have not only made swift progress but have also gained credibility among the schools and colleges.
We humbly claim Digital Nepal to be the first company in Nepal to provide a top-notch information management system and services to educational institutions.
Our Presence
The presence of Digital Nepal is virtually everywhere across the country. We manage the system and services from Kathmandu, where our head office is located. In addition, we have established our branches at Itahari. We have our head office in Kathmandu whereas we have already inaugurated our branches at Janakpur and Itahari.

LEGAL IDENTITY
Digital Nepal is a private company duly registered with the Government of Nepal under the Companies Act 2006 for development and delivery of information, communication and technology-based systems and services in education sector of Nepal.
The company is registered with:
- The Office of Company Registrar under the Ministry of Industry of the Government of Nepal.
- The Inland Revenue Office, Kathmandu. Its Permanent Account Number (PAN) is 606723343.
CREDENTIALS RECOGNITION/AWARDS
In 2018, the Government of Nepal bestowed a Smart Urban Technology Challenge 2018 award on Digital Nepal. Minister KP Sharma Oli felicitated the company with the award worth NPR 200,000.
Digital Nepal was chosen for the categorical winner of the challenge under the category - Municipal Community Services.
The Smart Urban Technology Challenge is an initiative of Kathmandu Metropolitan City to bring out entrepreneurial spirit within the Nepalese community to identify and solve problems related to urban development.
In 2019, Digital Nepal bagged the ICT Start UP Award in the ICT Award Ceremony organized by Living with ICT in collaboration with the Government of Nepal and other different agencies, with an aim to promote the ICT sector in Nepal.
The company bagged this award based on its strength of strategically transforming the education sector through digital-driven information management systems and services. The systems and services developed and delivered by the company have substantially led to the transformation of the education sector on a par with that in developed countries.
