Class 5 Entrance Examination 2077
Due to the pandemic situation of COVID-19, we have not been able to conduct the entrance examination and since the pandemic situation has not subsided, we are now bound to conduct the online entrance examination. However, our priority continues to ensure our entrance examination protects candidates’ safety helping them obtain the fairest outcome possible, with the quality and integrity they would expect from Budhanilkantha School. We therefore, request you to follow the Candidates Rules and Agreement for our class 5 entrance examination.
We are conducting the entrance exam on Ashoj 09, 2077 (Sept. 25, 2020).
Rules and regulations
This is a legal agreement between Budhanilkantha School and you. You hereby agree that the following terms and conditions shall govern your Entrance Examination conducted by Budhanilkantha School.
1. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of this Agreement, the terms defined in this Section shall have the meanings set forth below:
1.1 "Candidate Information" shall mean all information related to you collected by Budhanilkantha School, including, without limitation, registration information, examination results and scores, and all other information you submit for purposes of sitting for the entrance examination.
1.2 "Examination Materials" shall mean entrance examination(s) and any questions, instructions, responses, answers, worksheets, drawings, or diagrams related to such examination(s) and any accompanying materials.
Budhanilkantha School reserves the right to modify or cancel the results in case it is not satisfied with the entrance test or students’ conduct.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
a) You must show the isolated room before you start the exam.
b) You must agree to the terms and conditions.
c) Allowing someone to impersonate you to take the entrance exam, or engaging in impersonation to take an examination for someone else, is strictly prohibited.
d) The use of phones, recording devices, and any other electronic devices is prohibited.
e) The Exam Materials are the exclusive and confidential property of Budhanilkantha School and are protected by Budhanilkantha School’s intellectual property rights.
f) Budhanilkantha School has the right to revise exam results and exam data to monitor for exam fraud and exam irregularities. If anyone is found to have done unfair means, he /she will be expelled from the school at any time irrespective of their enrollment in the school.
g) The candidates are not allowed to copy or attempt to copy any exam materials.
h) Exam questions will appear at exact timing. All the students are required to join the website and the zoom Meeting an hour earlier.
i) The candidates should be with pens/ pencils, papers and calculator. The proper functioning of the calculator is the sole responsibility of the candidates.
j) Budhanilkantha School reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or invalidate any examination score if there is any reason to question its validity.
4. CONFIDENTIALITY AND MISCONDUCT
You should not disclose or discuss with anyone, including instructors, information about the items or answers seen in your examination (this includes posting or discussing questions on the internet and social media websites).
You should not seek help from any other party in answering items (in person, by phone, text or by email) during your examination.
Providing falsified information, documentation or statements as a means of a false identity, false address or solicitation of someone to take a test on another's behalf is strictly prohibited.
Entrance Exam
Budhanilkantha School will evaluate your knowledge and skills in the field of English, Nepali, Maths, Science and Social Studies.
Budhanilkantha School is conducting class 5 entrance test online through proper invigilation. The exam questions are based on objectives for the subject area, prepared by the subject matter experts. Before the start of the Entrance Exam it is a must for all the examinees to attend the orientation programme.
Steps for Accessing Entrance Exam Online
During the exam:
Candidates must complete all the multiple-choice questions within 75 minutes’ time frame, allotted for the exam.
Candidates must not stop the session by clicking the Exit or any way and then return to it. This is especially important in an online exam where the system may show "time-out" and not allow the candidates to reenter the exam site.
Candidates must not open another tab or any inspection tools during the online entrance exam. Otherwise, the entrance exam will be terminated.

After the Exam
You will be called for a short virtual interview if you are shortlisted and this will be informed to you through your email provided in the online application form.

Room setting
The room should be free from disruptions.
No one can be in or enter the room during your testing session.
Work area scan:
With your webcam, phone or laptop, you will be asked to scan slowly left to right to show surrounding walls and to scan up and down to show the floor and ceiling. If you are unable to complete a work area scan, you are not permitted to proceed further or to take the exam.
You will then scan your entire work area. The invigilator looks for security risks which are as under:
Facial Comparison Policy
By registering for an online exam delivery, you understand and agree that Budhanilkantha School may use facial comparison technology for the purpose of verifying your identity during the testing process. It will compare your facial image to the one on your identification and to facial images captured during the testing process to help us further develop, upgrade, and improve this application.
Recording during the exam
When taking this exam, the invigilator will continuously monitor you by video and audio, and your face, voice, the physical room where you are seated, and the location during exam delivery will be recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded (either by video or audio), please notify the invigilator immediately. You will NOT be able to proceed with the exam.
